Some stories feel like chapters in a book you never want to end—and this session with Baby Samuel was just that. From the first moment I met his family for their maternity portraits, I knew we were capturing something incredibly special: the anticipation of new life, the bond of siblings, and the deep love between two parents growing their family.

As a Pittsburgh Newborn Photographer, I’ve documented so many beautiful beginnings—but this one, with Samuel’s arrival, felt like the perfect continuation of a love story.

During the maternity session, you could see how connected mom and dad are. Their quiet joy and loving energy made for such dreamy, intimate images—soft light, warm tones, and a deep sense of calm as they waited for their little one to arrive.

Then came Samuel.

When I stepped into the studio for his newborn session, I was greeted with smiles, laughter, and the happy energy only siblings can bring. Samuel’s older brothers and sister were so gentle and proud—there’s something magical about watching kids meet their newest sibling for the first time. The way they surrounded him, protected him, and kissed his tiny face melted my heart.

And mom and dad? Effortless. Present. Grateful. Their love for each other and their growing family shines in every frame.

What made this session extra special was seeing how deeply this family values preserving their memories. The photos we created together—maternity and newborn—will tell Samuel’s story for years to come. From baby bump to swaddled snuggles, it’s all here, frozen in time.

We had such a great experience! It made it so easy for a family and mother to have an option for hair and makeup; this would have taken so much time otherwise. Having an extensive wardrobe option was so convenient, and she provided such amazing options. I literally had to just show up, and she had everything. It made the whole experience stress-free, and we will use her for our family milestones without hesitation! Sasha is so talented and creative, and knows her craft and does all the work to come back to you with amazing memories that you will be glad to have! I highly recommend her for professional, stress-free newborn/family photos!
