There’s something incredibly special about photographing brand-new parents. The love is fresh, deep, and so full of awe—and this session with Baby Cecilia was the perfect example. As a Pittsburgh Newborn Photographer, I get to witness so many beautiful beginnings, but this one truly tugged at my heart.
Cecilia made her mom and dad a family of three, and their connection was undeniable. The way they looked at her, held her, whispered to her—it was all pure magic. You could feel how deeply loved and wanted she is. She’s already wrapped in warmth, joy, and so much devotion.
We had an absolute blast photographing together. Baby Cecilia was calm and curious, making our time both fun and smooth. Her parents were relaxed and so present—just soaking in these fleeting newborn days. I always say the best images come from real connection, and this gallery is full of it.
One of the most meaningful parts of this session came after the images were delivered—when Cecilia’s mom shared the sweetest words about her experience working with me:
